Oh hi!

My name is Abbey, known online as AbbeyArtz. I am an artist with a BFA degree concentrated in drawing, painting, sculpture, and video media from the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to my degree, I studied traditional animation and character design at the University of California in Los Angeles.  I also have a passion for all forms of fiber art. I currently make all of my artwork out of my in-home studio in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I work with a wide variety of mediums, mainly focusing in drawing, painting, digital  illustration, crochet, and sewing. My work explores celebrating the beauty of individuality through vivid color and unique character design. I hope to reach others by creating a small pocket of colorful whimsy in our sometimes overwhelming world.

I document my artistic progress and endeavors on my Youtube channel as well as my Instagram page in hopes to establish a creative community, as well as inspire others to lean into their creative voice.
